Felix Garard: Ack! *splat*
Mar 1, 2022 20:59:39 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *tickles Felix* Where were you?
Mar 1, 2022 21:05:14 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *laughs and tries to wriggle free* Making out with Jenna
Mar 2, 2022 11:19:29 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *hmmph* Must be nice, Gramps Dudley keeps breaking me and Micah up
Mar 2, 2022 12:31:17 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Why don't you find a hidden spot to make out then? I mean, there's lots of hidden places around, right?
Mar 2, 2022 12:45:02 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: We tried he keeps sniffing Micah out to show him something or talk to him. I think he's doing the same to Micah's brothers.
Mar 2, 2022 12:46:27 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *clears throat trying not to laugh* I don't know how to help you with that one.
Mar 2, 2022 19:31:09 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *Ashleigh sighed flopping back on whatever they are sitting on or whatever* Sure go ahead and laugh it up!
Mar 2, 2022 20:09:23 GMT -6
Felix Garard: What? You would be laughing at me if I was in your shoes! *flops back and throws an arm around her shoulders*
Mar 2, 2022 20:11:24 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: probably so, but I'm bored now.
Mar 2, 2022 20:21:43 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Want to go check out the horses?
Mar 2, 2022 20:22:57 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: Why not? Uncle Jay had them brought out yesterday. Hey where do you suppose dad and uncles and their cousins have been sneaking off to?
Mar 2, 2022 21:43:20 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *shrugs* I dunno. We can try to follow them too, I guess.
Mar 3, 2022 13:51:00 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *smirks* Now I like that train of thought. We can work on our sniffing techniques and follow them. Or just follow their truck tracks in the snow
Mar 3, 2022 14:13:24 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *snorts* Yeah, I would just follow the tracks. They make it too easy by doing it in the snow.
Mar 3, 2022 14:25:53 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *jumps up* Let's go then!
Mar 3, 2022 14:36:57 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *jumps up as well and grabs Ash's hand and runs towards the door*

Charles sighed some as he walked through Town Square of Dark Haven, glancing around as he shoved his hands into his jeans whilst he did. This town was taking a little getting used to for him, being a bit of a loner and drifter. The idea of all these supernatural species and non-supernatural species co-existing together was rather....unsettling to him. Especially the non-supernatural. Humans were his food, for Christ's sake, not his equal after all. He shook his head to himself as he continued on, before suddenly coming to a stop, a distantly familiar scent catching him off guard. He stood there, trying to pin-point where that scent was coming from before his eyes landed on a raven haired beauty sitting outside of a coffee shop on the main drag. He took her in, everything from the darkness of her hair to the pale, but tanned tone of her flawless skin. She was gorgeous, there was no denying that, that was partially the reason he was feeling so drawn in. But it was also her scent....it was so familiar to him, yet so distant that he couldn't place where he might have smelt it before. He closed his eyes for a moment to take in that scent again, just to see if he could place it, before finding that he still couldn't as his eyes opened in frustration.
Only to see her deep brown eyes looking directly into his own.

Ally was half reading a book while she sat outside the small coffee shop, only picking the place since there were very few customers and Tibby's was booming with a lot of the school kids. She felt like she should walk towards the gazebo and looked up in the direction catching sight of someone that looked a bit familiar. Her eyes then locked with his own and she tried to think of where she had seen him before. Instead of pondering anymore, she closed her book and stood up, leaving a $5 bill on the table as she set her still full coffee cup on top of it so it didn't blow away and walked toward the man. She could tell he was a vampire, he looked too perfect not to be and even though she wasn't sure about him, she trusted her gut and walked confidently to him.
Charles watched the woman stand, her scent getting stronger now as she walked towards him. His lips thinned slightly then as he saw her approaching him with confidence, finding her to be even more attractive for it. He licked his lips slightly then as he suddenly felt like his mouth was running dry as she came to stand before him. Her scent surrounded him, causing his fingertips to tingle, something that hadn't happened to him for a very, very long time as his gaze was pulled into her own deep eyes. She was gorgeous at a distance, but unbelievably so close up like this. She was definitely a vampire with her flawless features and figure; had they possibly met before and he hadn't known it? Had she been a victim of his that he hadn't killed and had left under the assumption of death. Well, he had done that a few times so whilst it wasn't probable it was definitely possible. "Hello, have we met before?" He asked, his southern twang heard distinctly as he spoke.

Ally studied the vampire's features as he spoke and warmth filled her at the sound of his voice. She narrowed her eyes at him as realization hit but then pushed it away because something like him couldn't have been sent by Julius. "I am not sure," she replied to him slowly. Her own slightly southern yet Native American accent clear in her own voice. She thought she would remember him if they had met, but then again, she had pushed most of her memories from her so she wouldn't dwell on the past. She had thought she had nothing left from the past so she found it easier to go on without remembering. "Did you need any help? You seem new here. I am new myself. I have moved here about a week ago."
Charles tilted his head some hearing her then as he chewed slightly on his lower lip, nodding a bit then to himself. "You just seem so....familiar." He murmured softly then, trailing off as his eyes looked down at her with their usual intensity. He offered her a small smile as she offered him help. "No, not really. I'm merely looking around myself, being new here and all much like yourself. Figured I'd tour the town a little, get to know the....people." He replied as he smirked dryly to himself. He glanced back towards the young woman, holding his hand out to her as he did. "Charles Hale at your service ma'am." He added lightly as he grinned at her, her scent still feeling so intoxicating to him; like some sort of heady wine, or how he felt after an unusually good feeding. She still seemed so familiar, and her scent was nagging at the back, dark, recesses of his mind. "Perhaps we could discover more of this town together? The experience would be more pleasurable in the company of such a beautiful young woman." He added smoothly as his eyes trailed over her in a distinctly male like fashion and appreciation.

Ally started to stick her own hand out to him slowly until his name rang the bell that she had trouble ringing. "Hale?" she asked him, her gut telling her to stay but her head was telling her to walk away. She knew that name from her short time being kept in a room and being thrown a human every week to feed on when she basically imprisoned by Julius Gallo. She went with her gut and stayed standing in front of him. She wanted to know everything about him, but didn't know how to fight her head on this one. "We haven't met, but I know you and unfortunately it's not a pleasant memory."
Charles lifted an eyebrow as she seemed a little shaken after hearing his last name. "So we have met then..." He trailed off as the look of realization sparkled in her deep brown eyes. He tilted his head some hearing what she said next, his curiosity getting the best of him. "Well, now we do have a bit of a dilemma on out hands. You see, I don't remember you at all, but I do remember your scent." He moved in closer then, smirking some as he did, his powerful body lightly brushing against her own. "I didn't turn you..." He murmured lowly as his nose trailed along her jaw to her nose. "I'd remember fucking you, and it most certainly would not have been a bad experience on your part...." He whispered lowly into her ear, his hot breath spilling over it, before his nose moved down along the smooth column of her neck, her scent remaining tantalizingly within his senses. "So, are you going to enlighten me about this 'unpleasant' meeting we had, had at some undetermined time in the past?" He questioned as he slowly leaned away enough for his own intense eyes to stare down into her own.

Ally took a step back from him, not as a defense, just as a space provider between them. "No, you didn't, but you might as well should have considering the fact that you're the one that had every opportunity to let me go instead of following an order by Julius Gallo." She sneered Julius' name, hate evident in her voice for her enemy. "If that doesn't help you remember, then you were the one that I had seen every time that door opened when a human was shoved at me so I didn't starve." She was fighting her gut, something she knew she shouldn't do, because she didn't know if Charles was there under orders by Julius or not. She looked deep into the vampire's eyes and could see the intensity in them and it intrigued her.
Charles tilted his head some as he watched her take a step back as well, before his eyes registered the shock he was feeling when he heard her. "Well, I definitely wasn't expecting that of all things." He murmured as he allowed her to have her space. "I recognized your scent, though I never personally saw you. Julius ordered the guards to not set eyes upon you." He murmured lightly as he smirked some. "Now I can see why, he'd be afraid we'd take you for ourselves." He chuckled a bit as he chewed some on his lower lip. "i remember the night you managed to escape, Julius was not happy, that was for sure. It was shortly before I left as well." He added lightly as he rocked bit back and forth on his heels. "I guess you could say that after a while I was not Julius' biggest fan either." He added quietly in a conspirator like tone. "Never did like the way he treated you." He murmured lowly as he frowned a bit then. "You were his prized possession, not his intended mate." He sighed some as he ran his fingers through his hair, wondering why he was so drawn to her. Her scent, her features, her very essence was like a beacon to him, pulling him in. What was even more suspicious was his mounting rage at the thought that Julius had this lovely creature imprisoned like a animal, treated worse than the dirt below his feet, and Charles himself had helped in a sense. True, he himself was known to be cruel, but it was nothing compared to the actions of Julius.

Ally thought she'd be angrier when she had the realization, but she wasn't that angry at all. Especially since he did say he wasn't Julius' biggest fan and his way of hitting on her intrigued her even more. "Well," she finally said after a moment of arguing with herself to trust her gut over her head, "Since you are new in town, I'll give you a very great piece of advice. The mayor, I've heard, is protective of his town, so the best way not to get on his bad side is to not kill the residents. If you want, I can show you a good hunting ground where I haven't run into much trouble at all." She purposely failed to mention that it wasn't humans that she was hunting, but since the town had werewolves in it, she figured any animal is game besides wolves and it was a better chance of not getting poisoned by a human's blood that just so happened to have a werewolf gene in them. "And by the way, my name is Ally," she said then as she reached out her hand to him.
Charles tilted his head some hearing her as he smirked a little then at her advice. "To be honest I hadn't thought of staying, that is, up until now." He murmured lightly then as he lifted an eyebrow hearing about the hunting grounds. "He expects vampires to live off of animal blood?" He frowned a bit, not liking that idea at all. He had been feeding off of human blood for centuries, only using animal blood in dire consequences. He didn't know if he was even capable of keeping a strict animal diet for long. Then again, what the mayor would never know wouldn't hurt him either. "Well, I'm honestly not all that hungry right now to begin with, at least, not for animal blood." He added lightly as he smirked slightly. "How about you and I tour around the town, show me the places to go and places to avoid?" He asked her lightly. "But most importantly why don't you tell me more about yourself." He added smoothly as he allowed his eyes to trail over her entire form once more. Figures that Julius would have found such a treasure, and he liked to keep his treasures to himself.

Ally smirked at his obvious advance before answering his question about the mayor expecting anything. "I don't think he expects anything. I just find it safer considering I'm not sure who's a werewolf and who's not exactly. I don't plan on sinking my teeth into an underage werewolf anytime soon. Besides, I feel less like an animal if I feed on an animal." She shrugged then and said, "I guess I will find out what the mayor's all about when I have a sit down with him tomorrow. I received an invitation to meet him the second day I was here in town. I could not imagine why, but I do." She looked at him and said, "You don't care if Julius finds out that you're hitting on me? You know he'd kill you if he found out." She was serious because she knew he would, but she was also teasing him.
Charles smirked some hearing her then. "Ah, but that's a problem then, isn't it? Vampires are animalistic by nature. It's part of our charm I figure." He murmured lightly as he moved through the streets with her, before nodding some hearing what she said next. "Well, let me know how that turns out." He murmured as he moved along with her, before looking back to her once more. "And as for being able to tell a werewolf from a vampire, the scent of wet dog usually clues me in." He smirked playfully, his hand reaching out and lightly brushing her hair back from the side of her face so he could see her better. "Besides, I knew you were a vampire from the start, too gorgeous not to be." He replied as he felt that same draw towards her that he had distantly felt all those years ago, it was stronger now. It was as if he felt like...claiming her for his own. He fought back the urge as his hand dropped away from her face, clasping behind his back then. "And as for Julius, I'm not scared of him, and I lost my respect for him long ago." He added seriously as he looked back to her with an intensity.

Ally smirked at everything he just said. "Well, when I'm hungry, I tend to bite first and then smell. Besides, I feel it's right to just do a little animal control with a forest on the outskirts of the town anyway." She looked at him when he moved to brush hair from her face and her face looked at him a bit seductively. What was with her? She hadn't thought any thoughts of other men for 150 years. Julius pretty much set her against any male while he kept her locked up and the reason she didn't have a family anymore. She quickly forgot about Julius and didn't care how set against a male she was anymore and smiled at Charles when he said he lost his respect for Julius. "You know, I wasn't sure about you until you just said that. It is hard for me to trust because of him but I believe you." She stopped walking and looked at him with the same intensity.
Charles chuckled some hearing her then as he smirked a bit. "A true predator." He praised as his fingers slowly drifted from her cheek to her jaw, rubbing there slightly before trailing down her neck and gently falling off of her shoulder. Her skin was just so soft under his fingers. He stopped with her, seeing her deep brown eyes gazing at him as a wave of seduction coming from her hit him solidly in the chest. If he had a beating heart it would have been racing at this point, and he drew in a deep breath only to find it to be a mistake as he fell further into his lust by her scent. He smirked charmingly back at her, before his eyes fell upon a single snowflake as it drifted slowly down and gently landed on the apple of her cheek. "Well, looks like we'll be getting that storm after all." He murmured lightly, his thumb moving and gently brushing the single flake from her cheek, gazing down at her intensely as he stepped a bit closer, snow starting to fall lightly but more thickly by the second. "Perhaps we should take our conversation to my place of residence?" He asked her, his voice lower than it had been as his eyes sparkled with a tale of wicked deeds yet done.
