Felix Garard: Ack! *splat*
Mar 1, 2022 20:59:39 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *tickles Felix* Where were you?
Mar 1, 2022 21:05:14 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *laughs and tries to wriggle free* Making out with Jenna
Mar 2, 2022 11:19:29 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *hmmph* Must be nice, Gramps Dudley keeps breaking me and Micah up
Mar 2, 2022 12:31:17 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Why don't you find a hidden spot to make out then? I mean, there's lots of hidden places around, right?
Mar 2, 2022 12:45:02 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: We tried he keeps sniffing Micah out to show him something or talk to him. I think he's doing the same to Micah's brothers.
Mar 2, 2022 12:46:27 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *clears throat trying not to laugh* I don't know how to help you with that one.
Mar 2, 2022 19:31:09 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *Ashleigh sighed flopping back on whatever they are sitting on or whatever* Sure go ahead and laugh it up!
Mar 2, 2022 20:09:23 GMT -6
Felix Garard: What? You would be laughing at me if I was in your shoes! *flops back and throws an arm around her shoulders*
Mar 2, 2022 20:11:24 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: probably so, but I'm bored now.
Mar 2, 2022 20:21:43 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Want to go check out the horses?
Mar 2, 2022 20:22:57 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: Why not? Uncle Jay had them brought out yesterday. Hey where do you suppose dad and uncles and their cousins have been sneaking off to?
Mar 2, 2022 21:43:20 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *shrugs* I dunno. We can try to follow them too, I guess.
Mar 3, 2022 13:51:00 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *smirks* Now I like that train of thought. We can work on our sniffing techniques and follow them. Or just follow their truck tracks in the snow
Mar 3, 2022 14:13:24 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *snorts* Yeah, I would just follow the tracks. They make it too easy by doing it in the snow.
Mar 3, 2022 14:25:53 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *jumps up* Let's go then!
Mar 3, 2022 14:36:57 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *jumps up as well and grabs Ash's hand and runs towards the door*

The house inside was breathtakingly beautiful just as the outside was. Felicia had been working almost around the clock it seemed to get things done in time. It had worked and everything was ready hours before the party. Which she had whisked Jacob away for a couple of hours to their bedroom to make up for taking time away from him.
Now the party was in full swing. All of the Garards were here from their great grandparents on down to Jacob's youngest brother's new born. She smiled looking around seeing Timothy was hopefully enjoying himself as well. Her gaze fell on Jayden as he sat by the fire having recovered thank god. His eyes were misty she could tell as he watched his sons with their cousins. Tonight was going to be perfect.
Her sister looked beautiful tonight with Mutt by her side. Which the latter hadn't left her side since he had gotten back, and they hadn't seen much of either of them. They had spent time with their sons as well so that was good. Her own children looked perfect tonight in their finery and she smiled at them. She took a sip of the champagne from the glass in her hand relaxing as everything was falling into place. It had been four years since all of the Garard's had been together for Christmas. Even Grant was behaving himself tonight decked out in a black tux with his girlfriend of the moment. At least this one wasn't an airhead, and seemed to be keeping the boy in line.

Jacob had been enjoying a conversation, stealing glances at his beautiful wife every few seconds. Finally he went over to her after excusing himself from Timothy, who he found out that was anxiously awaiting his daughter's arrival to the party. He was eager to see how the girl's boyfriend would react to so many werewolves in one area with him being a vampire. If anything he'd leave and Jacob wouldn't care. He trusted Timothy and was willing to give his daughter a shot, but other than that, he really didn't care for vampires and they'd have to impress him in order to start gaining his trust.
Timothy kept looking toward the door, waiting for his daughter anxiously. He tried to keep into the conversation he was in, but it was hard for him. He was nervous, but then he was just excited at the same time.
Ally knocked on the door after arriving with Charles. She clung to his hand, her nerves shot at the fact that they were about to be surrounded by werewolves. She wouldn't have knocked if she didn't trust her gut, but since she did, she knocked, but that didn't help her nerves any. She looked at Charles as they waited for the door to be answered.
Klaus had just arrived with Elizabeth. He bought her a dress, having found out her size from sneaking into her room the night of the storm when she had invited him to wait the storm out at her apartment. He opened the door, smelling two vampires and also seeing them at the door. He kept their identity to himself because he didn't want to alarm Elizabeth. He tucked her arm in his as he led her up the steps to the front door.
Felix was running around with his cousins and sister, having a ball at the party. He was trying to make sure they stayed away from the grown ups but still managed to have a blast with his family all the same.
Charles looked down to Ally, seeing the concealed nervousness and feeling it radiating off of her in waves. "Shush, darlin', everything is going to be okay." He murmured to her gently as he leaned down, kissing the top of her head softly. "I won't let anything happen to you." He told her firmly, knowing she was nervous about being led into a house full of werewolves. Truth be told so was he, but he wouldn't let it in for her sake. He allowed calming waves to pass through them then and to sooth her, his hand gently stroking over her own tucked into his arm. "You going to be alright?" He murmured softly to her, looking down at her then as they waited for the door to be opened. He wasn't sure if one of the family members of the people hosting the party would answer or not, but he wasn't about to let himself in either.
Elizabeth had been shocked to say the least when Klaus had appeared at her door with the dress she was currently waiting, and asked her to accompany him to a Christmas Eve party. She had been even more shocked to find that the dress fit perfectly on her as well. She had appreciated the gesture, feeling a little embarrassed at first that he had been looking through her clothes to find her size, hoping he hadn't found anything else when he was at it. She had quelled that embarrassment though, knowing that his intentions had been good, and that was enough for her. She followed him up to the door, smiling softly when she felt him take her arm and tuck her's into his own whilst they waited. This all seemed so extravagant, far more than she was certainly accustomed to.

Felicia smiled at Jacob seeing him nearing her. "Hello baby." She swept her eyes over him taking him in loving how he looked all decked out. She rose an eyebrow hearing the doorbell ring. "Who else did you invite?" She smirked at him knowing all the family was here already. She hooked her arm with his to head to the door to greet their guests. It was all she could do not to pull him back up the stairs in the foyer to have some more alone time with him. Yet at the same time she didn't want to leave their party.
Jayden grinned hearing the door wondering if he had mentioned it to his brother that he had invited Klaus. He gingerly got to his feet waving off two of his brothers that tried to help him. His arm was in a sling seeing as how it was silver that had gotten into him. He was lucky he was alive, and it was thanks to Timothy. He slowly headed to the door following Jacob and Felicia keeping his distance knowing his brother would probably blow up seeing the hybrid at the door if it was him. He owed Klaus as well for getting him back here instead of leaving him laying there in middle of the street.

Jacob smirked at his wife when she wondered who else he invited. "Just the person that a friend needed to see at least one last time. Of course, I hope it's not the last, but I have no idea how long she'll stay here." He led his wife to the door and he opened it, a smile forming on his face seeing the female vampire. "Ally, come on in," he invited her in right away before looking at Charles. "Of course, you are also welcome, Charles. Any friend of the Larsons, is a friend of mine unless otherwise proven." His smile quickly faded after the two vampires entered and he saw Klaus walking up the steps. "If I remember correctly, I did not invite you."
Timothy looked at the door when the bell rang and when he saw his daughter walk in with a white dress on and on Charles' arm, he went straight to them and hugged his daughter and shook Charles' hand afterwards. "I hope you don't mind, Charles, but my daughter is overdue for a dance with her father. I will be stealing her away after awhile." He was happy Ally had found someone that she could trust and in return, he trusted the male vampire as well.
Ally smiled and entered the home, only after Charles had also been invited in. The next thing she knew, her father was already hugging her and then shaking Charles' hand. She still didn't know what to say to her father. She still was flabbergasted at the thought of him being alive, or in a sense alive, after 150 years of her believing Julius had killed him as well.
Klaus rolled his eyes and said, "No, you didn't but I believe the sheriff did." He glared at the mayor, clearly not enjoying a confrontation in front of Elizabeth. He stood his ground though, only moving Elizabeth slightly behind him when Jacob became upset that he was here after he said that Jayden invited him.
Felix stopped talking and was flabbergasted at the site of who Timothy just hugged. "That's his daughter? She looks good for being like almost 200 years old." He said that before he realized he was gawking after a vampire.
Charles smiled softly as he moved on in with Jacob's invitations. "I'm honoured that you allowed for me to attend and would invite me so graciously into your home." He murmured calmly in reply, before looking down to Ally feeling her nerves rising once more, knowing that it was for a completely different reason this time. He smiled sweetly at her, moving them along as Jacob dealt with the next guests, before gently pulling her to the side as he smiled all the more, cupping her face with his hands gently and leaning in to kiss her sweetly. "You look absolutely lovely tonight." He told her softly, gently stroking her cheek with the backs of her fingers, before forcing himself to pull away as her father stepped up to them. "It's nice to meet you, sir." He smiled and shook his had back , mimicking his enthusiasm. "I don't mind in the slightest, so long as I get a few dances in as well." He grinned a bit, winking to Ally then before letting go of her Father's hand as he reached for her, gently pressing his hand to her lower back for comfort. "I imagine you and Ally have a lot of catching up to do." He added softly, looking between the both of them then.
Elizabeth chewed softly on her lower lip then as she heard the mayor, looking between Klaus and him with slight confusion. It would seem they were most certainly familiar with one and other, and it definitely wasn't a good thing for either of them. She allowed him to move her slightly, her concern rising as she recognized his protective motions as he stood in front of her slightly, putting room between her and the mayor. What was this all about? It wasn't as if the mayor even stood a chance against Klaus, no human did for that matter. She didn't say anything though, not wanting to interfere, but she wouldn't blame Klaus if he'd rather leave with the way he was being treated right now.

Felicia smiled at the girl immediately realizing who she was. She felt tears gather in her eyes as she watched the reunion. Sighing she turned back hearing her husband and looked shaking her head. She rose an eyebrow realizing that the girl with the hybrid was a human and she frowned narrowing her eyes at the hybrid. What was he doing with a human she wondered raising her eyebrow again seeing him push her protectively behind him. The girl didn't look like she was being used by him or anything. There were no marks on her from him.
Jayden made his way up. "I invited him. As a way to thank him for bringing me home the other night. He could have just left me there to die Jacob. He didn't though, and I'm grateful for that. I want my sons to meet him as well." He told his brother hoping that he would invite him in. He'd been here since the shooting being coddled and looked after, and he hadn't gotten riled with them like he usually would have. All the same he was looking forward to going home. Though with everything planned this week it would probably be awhile before they let him go home. "Please Jacob." Begging wasn't his thing, but for this he would. He glanced at Klaus with an apologetic smile not even noticing the girl with him before looking back to his brother.
Ashleigh frowned looking up and smiled seeing the reunion. "Your mooning over a vampire there Lix. Looks like she has a boyfriend as well that's a vampire. I'm surprised dad invited him in, but if he's with Timothy's daughter than he should be fine." All the same she planned on giving him a wide berth.
Post by Mayor Jacob Garard on Dec 28, 2012 22:31:08 GMT -6
Jacob growled at the hybrid and then heard his brother. "You thought I'd invite him in since he helped you out? Don't get me wrong, I thanked you for your help, but that doesn't mean that I want you here now." He heard his brother basically beg him then and wasn't exactly sure what to do now. He looked at the girl behind Klaus now and gave her a quick once over around her neck and then looked back at Klaus. He turned to Jayden and said, "If anything happens, I'm going to kill you after I kill him." He grumbled a "Come in" before putting a hand around Felicia and leading her to where they were standing previously so he could keep an eye on the party now.
Timothy chuckled and said, "Of course, of course. And we have plenty of time to catch up. Now is the time to celebrate with a family that I also feel apart of since I've come to Dark Haven and began my time on the council." He looked at the door seeing and hearing what was going on there, when Jacob led Felicia back through the house, he smiled at his daughter and Charles and said, "Please, make yourselves comfortable. I will be right back." He walked over to Jacob and Felicia then to get the details on the newcomer. He smelled human enter the room, so he wasn't sure exactly what was going on.
Ally smirked at her father and Charles. She was happy that they were getting along, but then that wasn't much of a surprise considering she knew her father had always been friendly to everyone around him unless he was protecting his family. However, now wasn't the time for protecting and she knew he felt Charles wouldn't hurt her.
Klaus smirked after he was invited in and reached back and grabbed Elizabeth's hand as his face had a reassuring smile on it now. "Come on, love. I would like for you to meet the sheriff of the town." He pulled her close to him as he stepped into the home and up to Jayden. "I see you are healing."
Felix looked at his sister and said, "Shut up. I was just making a statement. I don't have a crush on her or anything. I was just saying she looks good for her age." He really did think she was hot, but wasn't going to actually admit it to his family because he wouldn't hear the last of it if he did.
Charles chuckled hearing Timothy then, nodding to the man before he walked over towards the hosts for the evening. "Well, my love, what do you say we get that dance in now?" He grinned as he turned to her fully, bowing slightly as he took her hand, kissing the back of it in a formal way. He grinned devilishly up at her, winking as her laughter tinkled through the surrounding area, loving the sound of it. He hadn't seen her so happy as she had been when they had returned from that meeting, and her first meeting with her Father. He smiled all the more, leading her to the dance floor where couples were already dancing, pulling her into his strong chest. He gently wrapped an arm around her waist, the other clasping her hand as he slowly started to lead her in the waltz that the band was playing at the moment. "You'll have to forgive me if I miss-step, it has been a few decades since I've had the pleasure of waltzing with such a distracting woman." He grinned wider at her then as he spun them gently around the room.
Elizabeth felt a little self conscious as she noted the way that the mayor looked at her neck, as if searching for something. But for what? She didn't ask as she felt Klaus take her hand, looking up and relaxing seeing his reassuring smile, smiling back then as she nodded and followed him in. She looked to the man that had come forth to speak up for Klaus as he moved up to the man, tilting her head hearing Klaus comment on the man healing, the same man that had said Klaus had saved his life. Wouldn't he be in rougher shape if he had been near death as the man had stated. He must have been a rather fast recoverer. "It's nice to meet you." She spoke up softly once Klaus introduced them, staying by his side as she did.

Felicia bit back her smirk looking between the brothers. She knew Jacob would give into Jayden. He usually did to his younger brothers. She leaned into him as they walked back to the party taking a sip of her champagne. She smiled widely at Timothy as he walked up to them. "Your daughter is beautiful Timothy. I'm glad you finally found her." She meant it also glad to see he was more happy than he had been in a long time. "She's welcome here with you anytime." She glanced back over her shoulder at Jayden and the hybrid not liking that he was with a human at all.
Jayden grinned at Klaus. "Slowly but surely. I'll be fine and that's all that matters. Thanks to you, and Timothy for pulling the bullet out as well." He turned his gaze on the girl raising an eyebrow seeing she was a human, and he couldn't stop himself for looking for puncture wounds. It was an occupational hazard. "Hello." He greeted her. "I'm Jayden Garard the Sheriff of Dark Haven, and you are?" He asked never having seen the young woman before in town. He looked back to Klaus then. "I'm trusting you tonight. If anything happens my brother will kill the both of us." He shut the door behind them as they came in as well.
"Sure you were." Ashleigh grinned at her twin though at the same time wishing Kalvin were there for her as well. Wait for eye candy not for her she thought. She'd been having daydreams about him, and they unnerved her. This was the first boy she had so much as ever looked at. She glanced over at Rufus and his family smiling as she pushed thoughts of Kalvin away seeing that they were whole again. Her aunt Melody looked radiant tonight and beautiful. She was happy for them. She heard her youngest uncle ask his wife to dance, and she quickly rushed over taking the newborn from her aunt, before she could refuse. "I got him." She smiled at them. Her uncle kissed her on the forehead, before taking his wife's hand and leading her out to dance.
Jake walked up next to Felix playing with his tie hating wearing it. It felt like it was chocking him as well as it felt like a collar, and that he hated. "What's up?" He asked looking around frowning noticing the vampires that had joined them, and he could smell the hybrid wondering where he was. He had a feeling though it was the one who had helped their uncle. "Damn that vamp is hot." He let out a low whistle checking her out.
Post by Mayor Jacob Garard on Dec 29, 2012 15:12:40 GMT -6
Jacob nodded at Timothy and said, "I don't like him. I don't like him. There's something about him that just pisses me off." Jacob was happy for his friend, but he was not happy about Klaus showing up, especially with a human girl. "Does she even know what he is?" He looked at Timothy and said, "What do you think of him?"
Timothy smiled at Felicia and said, "Thank you, I couldn't be happier if I tried. It's all thanks to your husband for finding her." Then he turned his attention to Jacob's ranting, just in time to hear his questions. "I have never seen him, so I can't exactly make any decisions about him. The girl is human, I can smell her all the way over here. He must be a hybrid, he has the demeanor of another hybrid I've come across." Then he looked over to the couple that spoke with Jayden. "Is he the one that carried Jayden home the other night?"
Ally looked over to Jacob and his wife and then smiled and nodded at her father. Her attention went straight to Charles after he had left. She smiled and accepted his offer to dance. Her short white dress with a sequin embellishment across the neckline of the dress moving easily on her small frame. She walked to the dance floor with Charles and lightly laughed at his comment. "Well, I don't remember the last time I danced like this. I know it wasn't when I was human, because then I just chanted and danced around a fire with the rest of my village. So if you mess up, I won't even notice."
Klaus nodded at Jayden and smiled encouragingly at Elizabeth. If anything, he did somewhat trust the werewolf and didn't mind attempting him as an ally. "I'll be on my best behavior. Besides, I'm sure my lovely date will keep me in line better than anyone else would be able to." He smirked at Elizabeth as his hand snaked around her and held her close to him.
Felix rolled his eyes at Ash and then burst out laughing when he heard Jake. "Have at it Jakey. I think she's taken though by the one she's dancing with. Oh! And she's Timothy's daughter. You know the long-lost one. Well, she ended up moving into town and dad put two and two together and reunited the two. But feel free to try to whisk her away from the one she's with. That'll be a great show to watch."
Melody was watching the dancing and she grabbed Mutt's hand and dragged him to the dance floor. It's been too long and she wanted to show everyone that she was reunited with her husband after 4 years.
Charles grinned some hearing her then as he chuckled a bit. "Well, that does bring me some amount of comfort." He twirled with her as he sighed softly in contentment, bringing her tiny body up against his own more as he leaned his forehead against her's. "I wish we could stay like this." He added as his hand gently squeezed her own, his fingers softly moving over her's. He kissed her cheek sweetly, before letting his own rest against her's as they moved fluidly step by step in perfect form across the floor.
"I'm Elizabeth Brown." Elizabeth replied softly then as she smiled warmly, before blushing a bit bashfully as she heard Klaus, shaking her head lightly then as she smiled. She felt him pull her into his side more as she relaxed into his hold. She could never imagine Klaus being at the centre of any trouble, but apparently the Klaus she knew wasn't the Klaus others might have seen.

Felicia smiled at Timothy, before frowning as she listened to them talk. A movement out of the corner of her eye caught her attention, and she almost burst into laughter. She watched Justice settle Liberty down, before heading to the front door. "Oh my Liberty lost her pup that she's been fawning over, and just noticed." A giggle escaped knowing Jayden would hear about it from his mother. She longed to see how that would go about, but she forced her attention to looking around at the rest of the family.
Justice frowned walking up glancing at the hybrid and the human. "Jay your mother lost sight of you. She'll tear the house apart if you don't get back in her sights." He bit back a smirk talking to his forty year old son. He moved his attention to the hybrid then. "I don't believe we have met. I'm Justice Garard this pup's father." He looked at the human's neck. "Does she know your a hybrid?" He asked matter of factly not beating around the bush.
"Well she better. I took a chance inviting you so don't make me regret it." Jayden smiled at the girl. "So what brings you to Dark Haven Elizabeth?" He asked friendly, before groaning hearing his father. "For god sakes dad I am a grown man with sons of my own!" He rolled his eyes hearing his father ask the girl if she knew that Klaus was a hybrid. He'd had enough of his mother's pampering the last few days. He longed to go home and nurse a drink in front of the fireplace, but that was not going to happen for awhile.
Ashleigh played with the baby walking back over to her brothers. "You do realize that they probably hear the both of you with their hearing?" She asked them not even looking up at them as she looked the baby over. Sampson was a little chunk and adorable. She saw Jake smirk looking behind her. She turned looking and giggled seeing the two year old brother toddling after her, and the one year old crawling trying to keep up with her.
Jake laughed scooping the one year old up and blowing a raspberry on his stomach making him laugh. "I'll pass Lix especially if she's Timothy's daughter." He grinned blowing another raspberry on the baby's stomach making him giggle. A tug on his pant leg made him look down and he grinned at the two year old. "Go to Felix Sean he'll give you one." He grinned more at his brother seeing the two year old toddle over to him.
Mutt grinned and whirled his wife around the dance floor. "I should have realized baby. Sorry." He apologized for not dancing with her earlier. He glanced back at their sons who dispersed after they left hopefully not to get into trouble either. "I love you baby. More than life itself." He whispered into her ear as they danced.

Jacob nodded at his friend and then looked at his wife before looking towards his parents. He huffed out a small laugh and said, "I don't think mother would be too keen on him being friendly to that hybrid. Then again, he does seem to have that aura around him that girls fawn over. Of course, my lovely wife wouldn't be caught dead with the likes of him." He smirked at Felicia before putting an arm around her and pulling her into his strong body and kissing her.
Timothy laughed at Jacob's comment and said, "I don't think your guests are willing to see you two lovebirds in action. I know I definitely wouldn't want a front row seat to it. I'll go and cut in with my daughter." With that he slightly bowed politely and turned to break up the dancing by offering to dance with Ally. "May I cut in?" he asked when he got to the couple.
Ally smirked at Charles and said, "I'm happy to know that I bring at least some comfort to you at a time like this. It feels nice to give you a break from working overtime to keep me at ease." She looked over to her father that she had noticed making his way to her and Charles. She smiled at him and then at Charles, kissing his cheek and said, "I would love to have a dance with you, father." She said father in her native tongue and smiled even bigger at him.
Klaus smirked at Jayden's reaction to what smelled like another werewolf and when he called him 'dad' he smirked even bigger. "A mother always thinks of her young as their young." He laughed and stuck out his hand to shake the man's hand. "Yes, she does know, and no I haven't tried to feed on her nor will I ever. She is too beautiful and perfect to have a life such as mine."
Felix smirked at his brother and then laughed when he burst out laughing seeing the two kids following Ash. He leaned down and picked up Sean and inhaled a deep and over exaggerated breath before blowing on the tot's belly making fart noises. He tickled him then and was laughing with him.
Melody smiled and replied, "I would do anything for you too, baby." She put her head against his chest just below his shoulder where she could reach and gently danced to the music with him.
Charles smiled softly hearing her, leaning in and pressing a short and sweet kiss to her lips before pulling back and moving with her once more. He paused though as her Father appeared, chuckling some hearing her then and Timothy as he nodded and moved gently out of the way. "Of course." He murmured softly, taking her hand and kissing the back of it softly before handing her to her Father. "How about I go and get us some drinks?" He added gently then as he smiled all the more, before turning towards the bar. He smirked a bit more as he noticed the kids that had been speaking of Ally, smirking even wider then as he passed them. "Yeah, she's beautiful for sure, and she is most definitely mine." He murmured lowly to the boy on the way by, not pausing to see his reaction then as he smirked inwardly to himself before going to the table and grabbing a glass to drink from. He turned, watching Ally with her Father then as he smiled all the more.
"I'm filling in for a teacher at the elementary school." Elizabeth replied then as she smiled some, before looking to Klaus after hearing the other man that approached them. She smiled hearing his response as she looked from him back to the men. "He told me the first night he met me. He's a trustworthy person, though I'll admit that I still feel rather out of my league." She smiled warmly, she may feel in over her head once in a while, but she also knew she hadn't ever been as happy as she was now, and she made sure that Klaus knew that fact too. Her reservations were hard for him to swallow, she got that, but he took everything in stride and would give her the time she needed to get used to the idea of him being a hybrid.
