History:

I was born one bright and shiny day to Claire and Marcos Danes. I was their third child. Their first daughter and my mother was filled with joy. After me came two more girls who were more girly than I was. Much to my mother's relief, but she assures me I more than made up for it growing out of the tomboy stage. She blames it all on Jacob of course, but she does love Jacob.

I barely remember my two older brothers. They were a few years older than I was. The oldest having already turned for his first time. My second brother had followed our eldest brother that night into the woods to see what it was all about. My parents were running late to join them, and when they got there they found my brothers shot with silver bullets by hunters. They are gone, but not forgotten in our family.

That's when my father moved us to his hometown Dark Haven. Something he always said he should have insisted on in the beginning. I was in grade school when we moved here, and my first memory is of meeting Jacob Garard. Our father's had been friends growing up here in Dark Haven. Being a tomboy I was aggressive, and played hard with the boys. It wasn't until we were in high school that I realized that i was in love with Jacob, but I never thought anything would come of it since we were good friends. That was until we both turned and were imprinted.

My life with Jacob I would never trade for anything. He's my everything. You don't see the bad side of me unless you are a woman and trying to put your claws into my man, and then they come out. That has been the only times I had trouble trying not to change until I gave birth to my children. Now I understood how my mother felt. I became closer with her after that.

We've had three adorable sons and a beautiful daughter. Having a daughter is a miracle in itself as the Garards had believed there was a curse on them to keep from having a daughter. I saw the heartache in my own sister when she lost her daughter before she was born. I don't know how I would have made it through that if I had lost Ashleigh.

I shared my daughter with my sister Melody and my husbands brother Joseph as much as I could without losing myself in it. We made them her godparents. My other sister Hannah and Jacob's brother Jeremy are Felix's godparents. One thing about our family is that we love to have the other's children no matter for how long. It makes the home feel more merry and cheery to me.

Jacob proposed to me before we went to college. I had four years to prepare for our wedding. He wanted me to have the wedding I wanted. We were married the June after we graduated from college, and it was more than I had hoped for. Family and close friends there, my sisters my bridesmaids, my father walking me down the aisle, and my brothers looking down on us from heaven. I had insisted on an outside wedding and it was beautiful on the Garard estate.

During those four years I worked my butt off in college graduating at the top of my class. My dream job was becoming a reality by then, and I was accepted right away as the principal at Dark Haven High school. Even taking time off for three maternity leaves I never forgot the children that went through that school. I missed them while I was on leave, and I was always welcomed back with open arms with thousands of questions about the babies.

Our life is going great right now here in Dark Haven. Though I feel there are shadows on every corner lurking and waiting to spring out at us. Somehow I feel that Dark Haven is going to be getting a lot darker in our near future.
