History:

I grew up in a small backwoods area around New Orleans. At one time the Deveraux pack was large, but now there are hardly any of us left. Only a handful I know of scattered about the United States. Hunters had wiped our village out leaving only my brother and I from our family. We ran when our mother screamed at us to and never look back. I was seventeen and my brother had only turned for the first time a few days before. As far as we know none of our older sibling nor our parents made it out of there alive. We obeyed our mother and never looked back.

We scrounged around for a few years finally ending up in New York. I was about to get my GED and got a scholarship to John Hopkins University and graduated three years later at the top of my class. I worked as a trauma surgeon in New York and was on several Hospital boards. I've written a text book as well, and when an opening came up at Dark Haven college I took it to teach medicine. I will also work part time at the clinic here after the first of the year. Moving here will give me more of a chance to spend time with my wife and kids. I've missed a lot over the years and regret it. 

My brother and I were close after what happened to our family. He made something of himself as well as a lawyer. He was a damn good one. He married and had a daughter. Unfortunately his wife took off for parts unknown after meeting up with some other werewolves. His daughter was everything to him, and he died four years ago after protecting her from hunters when she changed for the first time. My sons and I were too late to help him. My wife and I took Valentina in then and cared for her as if she were our own.

I was nineteen when I met my wife Cassie and imprinted with her. She is actually from Dark Haven born and raised there. She was part of the Garard pack. Her parents died in a car wreck when she was in high school. She was an only child since her mother had complications carrying her and was never able to have anymore. Thane and Susan Lewis took her in and raised her after that. After she went to college where I met her she's only been back a few times. The last was for her best friend Amy Lewis Garard's funeral, and she couldn't bring herself to come back after that. I myself have never been to Dark Haven before. It took a lot of talking to get her to move back here.

We have five children who we adore even when there riled up. I love all of my sons and daughter, but I have to admit my daughter does have me tied around her little finger. Our eldest was born before we were married, but we married a few short months later. It wasn't easy going to medical school and supporting my little family, but I made it. Or I should say we made it. Were hoping our kids fit in here. They haven't gone to school with others of their kind mixed in with humans as well. Our son Gage is attending the college where my niece Valentina will be as well. As for our eldest were not for sure where he is right now. Which we don't like at all. He's been a little messed up since my brother was killed four years ago and seeing the aftermath.
