Felix Garard: Ack! *splat*
Mar 1, 2022 20:59:39 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *tickles Felix* Where were you?
Mar 1, 2022 21:05:14 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *laughs and tries to wriggle free* Making out with Jenna
Mar 2, 2022 11:19:29 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *hmmph* Must be nice, Gramps Dudley keeps breaking me and Micah up
Mar 2, 2022 12:31:17 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Why don't you find a hidden spot to make out then? I mean, there's lots of hidden places around, right?
Mar 2, 2022 12:45:02 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: We tried he keeps sniffing Micah out to show him something or talk to him. I think he's doing the same to Micah's brothers.
Mar 2, 2022 12:46:27 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *clears throat trying not to laugh* I don't know how to help you with that one.
Mar 2, 2022 19:31:09 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *Ashleigh sighed flopping back on whatever they are sitting on or whatever* Sure go ahead and laugh it up!
Mar 2, 2022 20:09:23 GMT -6
Felix Garard: What? You would be laughing at me if I was in your shoes! *flops back and throws an arm around her shoulders*
Mar 2, 2022 20:11:24 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: probably so, but I'm bored now.
Mar 2, 2022 20:21:43 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Want to go check out the horses?
Mar 2, 2022 20:22:57 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: Why not? Uncle Jay had them brought out yesterday. Hey where do you suppose dad and uncles and their cousins have been sneaking off to?
Mar 2, 2022 21:43:20 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *shrugs* I dunno. We can try to follow them too, I guess.
Mar 3, 2022 13:51:00 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *smirks* Now I like that train of thought. We can work on our sniffing techniques and follow them. Or just follow their truck tracks in the snow
Mar 3, 2022 14:13:24 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *snorts* Yeah, I would just follow the tracks. They make it too easy by doing it in the snow.
Mar 3, 2022 14:25:53 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *jumps up* Let's go then!
Mar 3, 2022 14:36:57 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *jumps up as well and grabs Ash's hand and runs towards the door*

Rei punched him hard in his arm for him calling her princess and when her fist made contact with his arm, her knuckles were quite prominent where they bit into his flesh under his clothing. "I'm not exactly princess material, so don't call me that and we'll get along even better." As they walked and he introduced himself, she was about to retort back when he halted her and motioned to take cover. She did and then when he spoke again, she looked at him with a sarcastic look and as an answer took aim quickly and shot, hitting the deer in the side where the arrow could've easily went straight into its heart. "And I didn't even try on that one." She stood up as she walked over to where the deer didn't even have a chance to run and just flopped over.
Chon smirked when she punched his arm, feeling the pain radiating through it to his side but not allowing the pain to show. His pride wouldn't allow for that. "I'll call ya whatever I damn well please, sweetheart." He replied evenly then as he smirked some at her, before waiting for her then as he tilted his head some. "Well, I'm waiting to see this amazing aim of yours." He murmured with a huff of played up impatience, standing one she let the arrow fly and chuckling some seeing that she had hit the deer right in the heart. "Well, at least now I know you're not all talk, princess." He replied cheekily as he moved over to the deer with her, grabbing the arrow and ripping it out and handing it back to her. "I can carry it if you'll take my bag here," he murmured, his bag light enough that she could carry it without a problem as he slid it from his back and tossed it over to her. "I might need help at least getting the damn thing on my shoulders, but let me try on my own first, it'll be easier if I can on my own."
Post by Rei Travis on Dec 23, 2012 14:56:51 GMT -6
Rei huffed a small laugh at his cheekiness. When he went to carry it, she caught his bag and let him try. If he hurt himself more, she could rub it in his face, especially after calling her princess again. He managed to get the deer up on his own, she realizing he winced in pain while doing so, but bit her tongue for the moment but failed for very long, "You act like you're hurt or something. Be a man and suck up the pain." She smiled sweetly at him then, not worried about him trying to hurt her considering he was wanting to hunt the same thing. The extinction of werewolves would always be her goal.
Chon grunted some as he lifted the deer onto his strong shoulders, before sending her a playful glare hearing her as he huffed a bit. "Come on, sweetheart, pass me an arrow so I can shoot you in the side and then throw this hundred pound deer on your shoulders." He bit back to her sarcastically then as he carried the deer back down the path with her. "Head back to the clearing, we can take a trail from there to the cave." He added to her as he huffed and hiked the deer up a bit on his shoulders as he did. He trudged through the snow, directing her one they reached the clearing then before taking the lead as he ignored the pulling and burning pain in his side for as long as possible. "Shit, finally there." He grunted, uncharacteristically out of breath as he moved up the slight hill on ion the cave.

Rei smirked at his grunt as she followed him into the cave where he had set up a camp. There was still a fire going, not that there would be any wind to spread it onto anything anyway considering the angle the camp was set up from the entrance. She thought it was pretty nice of a setup and helped him drop the deer where she got her large knife out and began cutting it up immediately. She had gotten pretty well skilled at skinning animals and even more skilled at using the large knife while doing so that she worked in silence as she was lost in a world of her own while she did so. It was just about 15 minutes later when she looked up at Chon. "So, you gonna sit your ass down and rest while I act like a woman for a minute and start cooking up a hot meal?"
Chon set the deer down then as he started the fire, tilting his head some as he noticed her go about getting right into cutting up the deer. He smirked some then as he stood, grabbing his own carving knife then as he moved over to her, kneeling down beside her once the fire was well on its way. He gutted the deer while she skinned it, tossing away the useless organs but keeping the good ones as he did. He laughed a bit then hearing what she said after a while, shaking his head some as he did. "I will eventually, but I'm going to supervise. Don't need you burning any of this meat. I'll smoke the leftovers and make jerky as well, this should be more than enough to supply the both of us for a while." He murmured lightly as he went about then cleaning up the cave floor which he had previously laid leaves and sticks in that area specifically for gutting and cleaning his meal. "If you want to cook, though, I won't stop ya sweetheart." He added easily then as he grinned a bit more.

Rei looked at him and said, "Please, I've lived off of food that wasn't canned for quite sometime. I don't remember the last time I had a can of anything, so I know my way around a fire and not burning meat. Regardless, you'll eat even if I do burn it, so shut it." She cut up some good size portions of meat since she was more than hungry anyway. She grabbed the skillet from where it sat near the campfire and threw two pieces into it and set it on the fire, letting it start to sizzle as she started to cook. She added water from her canteen so the juices could stay in the meat more than frying off of it.
Chon smirked some hearing her then as he chuckled a bit then. "Alright, I'm trusting you..." He trailed off teasingly then as he sighed some, leaning back against the cave wall as he did. "I've got some seasoning salts over there." He pointed to where he had some supplies stacked against the wall, watching her start to cook. His mouth was already watering he was so hungry. He sighed some then as he let his head rest back against the wall, closing his eyes momentarily then as he did, the pain throbbing in his side. He knew he'd just have to live with it though, he'd ran out of pain killers a while back and they rarely did anything for him now anyhow. He opened his eyes once more, watching the beautiful young woman through half lidded eyes, wondering how long it had been since he had been in agreeable female company. His body reminded him far too long, as his eyes slowly trailed over her muscular, but curvy figure.

Rei went over to where he pointed out the seasoning salts and selected a few and then began to sprinkle a little of this and a little of that in the pan. She stole only a couple of glances at the male hunter wondering why she was even bothering with looking, but then again, she was a female and she had never even had a man. This one seemed to be like the best looking one she's ever seen. She felt an attraction to him and she tried forcing herself to not look at him. She flipped the meat and began frying the other side, being careful not to burn herself. Once the meat was done, she removed the meat onto two metal plates, one on each plate, and let the remaining water start to just boil out to keep the pan seasoned and end up just having to wipe it out really well once it cooled enough to touch. She walked over to Chon and sat down next to him, dropping one plate in his lap. "Not much, but food for the soul," she told him.
"Chon awoke more as the scent of food cause his stomach to start rumbling in protest of its emptiness. He watched her intently as she cooked, chewing some on his lower lip before offering a small smile as she handed him his food. "Smells good to me." He remarked then lightly as he took some of the meat, biting into it and groaning softly then as his head fell back against the wall. "It is fucking delicious, princess." He smirked at her. "At least I know you can cook." He winked at her playfully then, knowing that probably deserved either a snide comment or a smack from the woman. He grinned a bit though still as he took another bite. "It's been a white since I've been able to eat like this." He admitted then lightly as he looked over to the woman sitting beside him now. "You mentioned being in the same boat, how long ya been on the road?" He questioned here lightly then as he waited for her to finish eating the bite she had in her mouth to answer.

Rei looked at him and rolled her eyes at his reaction to the food. The meat was good, she would give him that, but it wasn't the greatest. She swallowed her bite and said, "About a decade, but I've been born into this life, so I guess you can say all my life. My family was killed by a pack and my oldest brother, Ben, died trying to protect me. My arm was pretty tore up from one of the wolves, but my brother fended it off and tried to get me out of there when he was killed. I was lucky and survived. The rest of my family wasn't." She looked at him for a second and then said, "What about you?" She then took another bite of the food as she waited for him to answer.
Chon tilted his head some then as he listened to her story, frowning a bit then as he heard about her family all being killed by a pack of werewolves. "Have you found the pack that killed your family yet?" He asked her then as he chewed on the meat in his mouth, swallowing it then before looking towards her arm. "How bad is it now? Does it affect you in any way?" He asked lightly then, trying not to make her uncomfortable with too much questioning of her past. "I've been out on my own for a while as well, not nearly as long as you though. I'm impressed how far you've made it to be honest." He told her then as he sighed some, finishing his meat off and setting his plate to the side. "My folks were around long enough to help me come into my hunter abilities, but killed shortly after as well." He murmured softly then as he looked down towards her beside him, lifting an curious eyebrow then. "So is that why you're here? Looking for werewolves to avenge your family's death or something along those lines?" He asked, having heard that same story line before from many a hunter. Most are brought into the business after they lose someone close to them to a supernatural being after all, it wasn't usually, and he had lost his family the same way. At least he could sympathize with her then.
Rei smirked and said, "Yes, killed every last one of them." She took another bite and quickly chewed it before swallowing it when he asked the next question. She set her plate down and unbuttoned her wool peacoat. She removed it from just one arm though and pulled her shirt half way off, revealing a thin tanktop and the outlines of a bra underneath it as she showed him the scar from her shoulder to her elbow of very prominent looking claws that had been dragged along the arm. "It doesn't affect me, but it left a pretty good mark." She shrugged then as she let him take a look at the scar. "My parents trained my siblings and I as soon as we were of school age. They knew it would be what we became, but the werewolves let us know exactly how they felt about that." She began to replace her shirt and then replaced her arm in her jacket but left it unbuttoned, the warmth from the fire being comfortable to her. "I'm still hunting because I can't stand the mutts and rather just make them extinct."
Chon looked at her as she said it, smirking some as well. "That make you feel at least a little better?" He asked lightly, knowing for a fact that killing the werewolves that killed your family could never completely take the hurt away, nor make it really any better, but it sure as hell could make you feel better for a time. It could put you at a semblance of peace. Chon tilted his head some as she took her coat off, setting his own plate to the side as he sat straighter, trying not to pay attention to the attractive form of her body in her tight clothes, nor the rising and falling of her breasts as she habitually breathed in and out. He did concentrate, though, on the scars on her arm, licking his fingers clean before reaching out and taking her arm gently in his hand, moving it some so he could better observe the park moving from her shoulder to her elbow. "Bastard got ya good." He grunted then before nodding then hearing what she said about her childhood. "That's good, it's always better to be upfront and start early, then it's not so much of a shock when everything comes to a head." He replied knowingly then as he let her go, resisting the urge to run his fingers along the flesh of her arm as she replaced her clothes back on her body for warmth. "I agree with you, werewolves, vampires, witches, none of them belong on this earth, they were never met to be here. Humans are the true rulers here, at the top of the food chain, it it should remain that way." He nodded a bit as he sat back, finishing off the meat then as he resumed eating.

Rei held back the shock that the touch of his hand brought to her. It lit something within her and she wasn't exactly sure what it was. Then she shrugged after he removed his hand from her while she replaced her clothes. "It felt good to rid us of those pests, and I paid the runt back for my arm as well. Back then, I was more morbid than I am now and I gutted each one of them from their necks to their assholes." She definitely wasn't one to hold back with her language if she thought it called for it. She chewed more on her meat as she listened to him and replied after swallowing again, "As long as they stay out of my way, I won't kill them, but werewolves can definitely just die and leave this world."
