Felix Garard: Ack! *splat*
Mar 1, 2022 20:59:39 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *tickles Felix* Where were you?
Mar 1, 2022 21:05:14 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *laughs and tries to wriggle free* Making out with Jenna
Mar 2, 2022 11:19:29 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *hmmph* Must be nice, Gramps Dudley keeps breaking me and Micah up
Mar 2, 2022 12:31:17 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Why don't you find a hidden spot to make out then? I mean, there's lots of hidden places around, right?
Mar 2, 2022 12:45:02 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: We tried he keeps sniffing Micah out to show him something or talk to him. I think he's doing the same to Micah's brothers.
Mar 2, 2022 12:46:27 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *clears throat trying not to laugh* I don't know how to help you with that one.
Mar 2, 2022 19:31:09 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *Ashleigh sighed flopping back on whatever they are sitting on or whatever* Sure go ahead and laugh it up!
Mar 2, 2022 20:09:23 GMT -6
Felix Garard: What? You would be laughing at me if I was in your shoes! *flops back and throws an arm around her shoulders*
Mar 2, 2022 20:11:24 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: probably so, but I'm bored now.
Mar 2, 2022 20:21:43 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Want to go check out the horses?
Mar 2, 2022 20:22:57 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: Why not? Uncle Jay had them brought out yesterday. Hey where do you suppose dad and uncles and their cousins have been sneaking off to?
Mar 2, 2022 21:43:20 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *shrugs* I dunno. We can try to follow them too, I guess.
Mar 3, 2022 13:51:00 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *smirks* Now I like that train of thought. We can work on our sniffing techniques and follow them. Or just follow their truck tracks in the snow
Mar 3, 2022 14:13:24 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *snorts* Yeah, I would just follow the tracks. They make it too easy by doing it in the snow.
Mar 3, 2022 14:25:53 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *jumps up* Let's go then!
Mar 3, 2022 14:36:57 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *jumps up as well and grabs Ash's hand and runs towards the door*

Rei gawked a laugh at him before saying, "My poor aim? You're lucky that I happened to miss for maybe the second time in my life! And beating on my patients seems to make them heal faster so they can run away and not get beat on anymore, so I think production is right on target." She finally leaned back herself, sitting next to him and actually content being that close to him. She shrugged at his next question and said, "If you call that a storm, then yeah. I've been through worse and still managed to keep my tent up." Then she laughed and said, "It was colder than shit, but hell, it worked."
Chon chuckled some hearing her then as he smirked a bit, shaking his head but not commenting then. He sighed some and nodded though hearing her talk about the storm. "Yeah, try a white out in the Arctic, then complain about a storm here." He muttered dryly as he smirked some, glancing back towards Rei then as he did. "I imagine by the sounds of it you've experienced the same thing or something equal. It's great when pipping hot coffee actually evaporates when it meets the frigid air in the north." He chuckled a bit. "So, I've heard a rumour around town, whispered rumours mind you, but there might end up being some truth to them." He told her quietly as he looked to the fire then, waiting for her reaction to know if she even wanted to hear what he had to say. He figured she would though, having the same idea as him about the supernatural. This would be somewhere, where they could hit them all in one blow, so long as he was right with his suspicions. Usually he wasn't wrong, especially when he had the opportunity to observe this particular individual for as long as he had.

Rei smirked and said, "Yeah, something like that. However, more like a sandstorm that lasted six days in the Sahara Desert. So something similar, but not as cold, actually pretty damn hot instead." Then she looked over to him and said, "Let me guess. The so-called rumors happen to be an idea of yours to get me to stick around?" She smirked, just playing with him, but actually kind of hoped it was even though she knew it wasn't.
"Sand storm would be worse, skin ya to the bone if caught in a really bad one unawares." Chon replied lightly then as he chuckled some. "But the cold is still nicer than the heat in my opinion." He added lightly then as he looked back over to her, a slow smile spreading on his features. "Hey, if you don't wanna hear what I got to say, then just say so. But I have a feeling you don't want to be rid of me so quickly." He added with a knowing wink then as he watched her intently, before sighing some and getting serious. "Alright, I've been trailing this new comer, watching their habits, their comings and goings, and I'm almost 100% certain that this figure is a vampire." He murmured then as he sighed some. "Now, I heard this vampire talking about this get together that she was going to on Christmas Eve. Now this is taking a chance, cause if I'm wrong and she isn't a vampire it is a bust." He added as he looked back to her. "But if she is, I can only assume she'd go to a party where there are more of her kind, and possible, other species as well." He paused for a moment, waiting for her to let this sink in. "You following me so far, princess?"
Post by Rei Travis on Dec 28, 2012 21:49:34 GMT -6
Rei smirked and then it fell after he called her princess again. She punched him in the arm and said, "You really need to drop that 'princess' name you think you have going." She then leaned her head back and said, "So, you have a crush on a supposed vampire girl who's probably really a decrepit corpse that's been literally dead for about 100 years?" She smirked at him, teasing him before saying, "OK, so you have my interest peaked."
Chon laughed as he watched her smile fall and felt her punch him when she realized what he had called her once more. "Nah, I think I like it. Not only does it annoy you, but it suits you." He teased her lightly as he smirked wider, before his jaw dropped a bit hearing what she said next. "I do not have a crush on a damn vampire. Besides, what are we, teenagers? Crush" He snorted, shaking his head in disbelief, before huffing some. "As I was getting at, I found out that this party is being held at the Mayor's place, and I thought that it might be....interesting to drop in." He added thoughtfully as he shrugged his shoulders some, grabbing a twig on the ground and tossing it into the fire. "That is, if you're interested?" He added as he looked to her with a raised eyebrow, interested to hear what she might have to say.

Rei was silent for a moment before she burst out laughing. "Like that would go over well if your intel is right," she said and then took a breath for what she said next. "The key to survival is not surrounding yourself with the supernatural. It's staying out of their way until the most opportune time presents itself for you to strike. You should know that, or at least I'm hoping you do." She sat up then and hugged her knees to her chest, the warmth from the fire feeling good on her face.
Chon shrugged his shoulders slightly then hearing her, knowing she wasn't wrong, but neither was he in his idea. "I wouldn't be crazy enough to do something like that alone." He admitted, looking at her with a raised eyebrow. "You can't tell me it's not tempting though? Knowing that it would be like shooting fish in a barrel?" He added as he smirked some. "If my intel is right, and my assumptions are correct, it could be one of the biggest, and easiest, slaughter of supernaturals in all hunter history." He sighed some as he ran his fingers through his hair. "Sometimes I start to wonder if staying away and out of the circle is truly the best way to do everything, if some sort of submersion into super civilization would not be equally as effective, although much more dangerous."

Rei was all for the extinction of werewolves but she wasn't sure this was the way to do it. "OK, what if they end up being just humans? I'm sorry but a waste of my time like that would seriously piss me off." She thought for just a moment before saying, "What if we observe from afar? I mean, if it looks like they're supernaturals, then yeah, let's do it, but I really would hate to go and just be surrounded by a bunch of humans."
Chon shrugged his shoulders lightly. "Doing something means risking more, I don't deny that, but it also would mean greater rewards as well. I'm not saying that we have to, it was purely just for a 'what if' scenario." He murmured lightly as he looked to her, lifting an eyebrow then hearing what she said next. "If I didn't know any better I'd say that my idea has hooked your interest despite its obvious faults." He smirked playfully at her then. "I agree with your plan, that would certainly be for the best, but it'll also be hard to determine supernaturals from humans from too far a distance." He added thoughtfully as he sighed some. "But we'd be blazingly obvious if we tried to sneak into the party as well, our blood and scent would give us away."
Post by Rei Travis on Dec 29, 2012 10:19:48 GMT -6
Rei smirked and said, "Well, the best option is to just to observe from afar, but then again we wouldn't be able to tell if they're supernaturals unless they do something, such as transform, or feed on a human, or whatever else they do. So, why don't we let this event go and see if we can get into the next one?" She shrugged then and said, "If it's the mayor, then he would be at another event anyway, so it's not like we'd end up losing track of him."
"Works for me. Like I said it was simply an idea, never said it was a good one." Chon smirked as well as he leaned back against the wall of the cave, sighing some in contentment feeling the warm of the fire finally as his fingers and toes thawed out. "You warm enough?" He asked lightly then as he looked over to Rei, mentally cursing himself for not having asked so in the first place. Her gear didn't look nearly as heavy as his own, and if he could guess she'd be feeling the cold pretty badly right about now with the time of day.

Rei smirked at him and said, "Figures. Typical of guys. Don't think things threw before they voice their ideas and opinions." She reached over to her other bag, it was big and packed with a couple changes of clothes a blanket and a few undergarments, as well as toiletries. She pulled the blanket out and said, "I'll be fine. The fire's nice and warm and I have a good blanket here. Or was that you hitting on me?" She was teasing him, but wouldn't mind if he was actually hitting on her either.
Chon smirked some hearing her as he shrugged his shoulders. "The flips side to that is that woman over think things....constantly." He winced a bit as he chuckled, before sighing softly as he watched her reaching for her bag. He raised an eyebrow then hearing what she said next, smirking playfully as he responded. "I don't know, did you want me to be hitting on you?" He asked lightly as he shrugged his shoulders in a noncommittal fashion. "It could be me hitting on you if that's what you want." He added as he grinned some at her.

Rei raised and eyebrow at him in return and said, "It depends. Are you a chauvinistic pig or someone worthwhile? And answer honestly too." She leaned back again and covered herself, only up to her waist though, to keep her lower extremities warm since they were the farthest from her heart. She crossed her arms then and looked at him waiting for an answer.
