Chon looked to her then as he watched her for a moment, formulating an answer within his mind. "I'm not chauvinistic, but as to whether or not I'm worthwhile, well, that's a decision completely up to you." He told her seriously then before shifting and slowly standing, walking over to the mouth of the cave to grab more firewood before bringing it back to the fire and gently setting it on it, sighing some as he rubbed his hands to gather some warmth back into them. He glanced up over the fire though to Rei once more, lifting an eyebrow as he watched her. She didn't need to answer that right away, not that he expected her to, but he knew she'd be thinking about it now, and even he was curious to know what she would say.

Rei watched him and decided she'd have to seriously (but not literally and in a joking manner) hurt him for not taking it easy. When he looked at her over the fire she spoke up and said, "You really don't know how to listen to doctor's orders. I told you to relax and here you are up and walking around. You're thick headed, that's for sure." She stood up and walked over to him. She lightly punched him in the arm. She did consider him worthwhile but she didn't want to admit it...not just yet. "Now sit down and rest or I'll tie you to something to make sure you keep your ass off your feet."

Chon smirked some hearing her. "I'm not good at listening to orders period." He replied evenly then as he chuckled a bit more, before sighing some and shaking his head. "I'm fine." He grunted out when she punched his arm, smirking once more though hearing her option of forcing him to keep still. "Somebody is kinky, I've got rope in the bag, princess." He teased her then as he moved around the fire, sitting back down on the ground with his back propped up against the cave wall as he did.

Rei smirked and said, "Maybe I should just shoot you again. I'm sure that'll keep you down, especially a shot to your leg. Remember, I'm not nice when removing an arrow." She used a stick to poke at the fire to make sure it was able to get to every piece of wood in the smoldering stack. Then she tossed the stick on top of the fire before settling in a spot next to him. She had the entire cave to sit, but she was thinking the extra warmth from an extra body mixed with the fire's heat would be better, especially for him considering he was the one that got hurt.

Chon smirked some as he chuckled a bit more hearing her then, liking her spunk as he tilted his head slightly then when she messed with the fire. "I'm sure it would, and don't worry, I remember." He snorted a bit as he sighed some, leaning back against the cool wall with the warmth on her face. He noted then when she settled back a little closer then him, looking down at her then as he frowned a bit in real concern. "Hey, you cold." He murmured to her gently as he shifted his arm around her shoulders, pulling her in close to his body to soak in his body warmth more.

Rei's eyes stared at the fire for a moment when he suddenly put his arm around her shoulders. She wasn't cold, but she really had trouble trying to figure out what exactly he was thinking. Was he trying to be fresh? Was he actually concerned for her warmth? She really didn't know. Finally, what seemed like an hour but had only been just maybe two seconds had passed, she looked at him with a calm face and said. "No, just figured I'd keep you warm since your body's working on healing instead of keeping warmth." She smirked at him before pulling the blanket over her lap that she had let him use as well so they were sharing. It was common sense to keep each other warm with weather like that out there, but she wasn't exactly sure how to go about it with him.

Chon held her to him then as he rubbed his hand lightly over her arm, trying to create some friction to help with warming the cool skin. He chuckled some hearing her then and smirked slightly. "Says the girl that feels like ice." He murmured lightly as he continued to rub his hand along her arm, holding her more tightly against his body to help some of his body heat soak into her. "And you don't have to worry about me, I'm a guy, we have a tendency to run hot." He winked at her playfully then, before watching as she pulled the blanket over their legs to help keep the warmth in.

Rei rolled her eyes at his comments and spoke up, "Apparently large egos run in your gender as well." She scooted slightly closer to him though before seriously saying, "I'm just making sure your body can concentrate on healing and not worry about keeping warm. You should just appreciate it or I can just go around to the other side of the cave with my blanket." She crossed her legs at the ankle as she stretched them out in front of her as she held the blanket up so it covered his waist where he had the wound to make sure that stayed warm as well. "So how are you liking the weather here? I say the next place I go to is a desert."

Chon chuckled hearing her then as he smirked a bit more. "I could mention a few choice traits of your gender as well that aren't so flattering you know." He murmured lightly as he gently rubbed his hand over her upper arm whilst she scooted closer to him. He looks to her then, sighing softly hearing her and knowing that she was being serious as he refrained rolling his eyes a bit. She didn't have to be so serious, he was fine after all. He snorted then hearing her next question as he shook his head some. "The desert gets just as cold if not colder at night, sweetheart." He murmured lightly as he smirked some, looking down at her. "Personally, I'd head for the tropics." He chuckled as he leaned his head back against the wall, closing his eyes for a moment. "Warm sun, the smell of salt from the ocean, a half naked exotic woman strapped to my side. Yeah, that would be the life." He murmured easily as he smirked playfully whilst humming a bit.
