Felix Garard: Ack! *splat*
Mar 1, 2022 20:59:39 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *tickles Felix* Where were you?
Mar 1, 2022 21:05:14 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *laughs and tries to wriggle free* Making out with Jenna
Mar 2, 2022 11:19:29 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *hmmph* Must be nice, Gramps Dudley keeps breaking me and Micah up
Mar 2, 2022 12:31:17 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Why don't you find a hidden spot to make out then? I mean, there's lots of hidden places around, right?
Mar 2, 2022 12:45:02 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: We tried he keeps sniffing Micah out to show him something or talk to him. I think he's doing the same to Micah's brothers.
Mar 2, 2022 12:46:27 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *clears throat trying not to laugh* I don't know how to help you with that one.
Mar 2, 2022 19:31:09 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *Ashleigh sighed flopping back on whatever they are sitting on or whatever* Sure go ahead and laugh it up!
Mar 2, 2022 20:09:23 GMT -6
Felix Garard: What? You would be laughing at me if I was in your shoes! *flops back and throws an arm around her shoulders*
Mar 2, 2022 20:11:24 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: probably so, but I'm bored now.
Mar 2, 2022 20:21:43 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Want to go check out the horses?
Mar 2, 2022 20:22:57 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: Why not? Uncle Jay had them brought out yesterday. Hey where do you suppose dad and uncles and their cousins have been sneaking off to?
Mar 2, 2022 21:43:20 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *shrugs* I dunno. We can try to follow them too, I guess.
Mar 3, 2022 13:51:00 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *smirks* Now I like that train of thought. We can work on our sniffing techniques and follow them. Or just follow their truck tracks in the snow
Mar 3, 2022 14:13:24 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *snorts* Yeah, I would just follow the tracks. They make it too easy by doing it in the snow.
Mar 3, 2022 14:25:53 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *jumps up* Let's go then!
Mar 3, 2022 14:36:57 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *jumps up as well and grabs Ash's hand and runs towards the door*

Elizabeth flushed some then hearing him as she shrugged her shoulder sheepishly. "Then I'd say you'd be the first person to think so." She replied lightly as she smiled some, before looking a little surprised hearing what he said next. Was he actually asking her out? She felt her heart thrum a bit with nervousness but found her head nodding even as her mind worked to catch up with her. "I'd really like that." She admitted as she smiled softly, blushing some before looking over to her window, still whited out by the blizzard outside. "That is, if this storm ever stops." She joked lightly as she smiled some, looking back towards Klaus then after she felt herself calming down slightly.

Klaus looked over to the window when she did as well and then looked back at her before her face turned back to his as he locked eyes with her. "I'm sure it will seem as if it's a lifetime before it ends, but it should be over soon if the wind keeps up." At least while he was on top of the treetops it didn't seem like a large storm, but then again he couldn't see very far into it anyway. "It should be over with by the morning, or at least I would assume." He knew he should probably leave but he didn't want to and she probably would think he was crazy for wanting to go back out into it.
Elizabeth felt this intense urge to shy away when his eyes locked on her own. Why was he so good looking? It was almost intimidating to her. "I honestly don't mind snow storms, I'd rather it be a white christmas than a green one any day." She added lightly as she smiled some, before standing then and motioning towards the couch. "Come on, might as well sit somewhere more comfortable." She added lightly as she moved over to the couch, sitting down where she had been previously on the one side.

Klaus smiled at her thought of the snow storm. "Well, I don't mind this one considering the lovely company I'm being entertained with." He didn't want to bring up the obvious thing of him being stuck there, even though it really wasn't an issue for him considering he could just leave and be fine even though she wouldn't have been if she left. He sat back down on the small couch and said, "Well, love, what do you say to an unexpected company filled night? I doubt anything could get through that storm so I'm afraid you'll be stuck with me all night unless you would like for me to leave."
Elizabeth blushed some hearing him as she shook her head slightly then, laughing a bit as she did. "I don't know if you'd be calling my company so 'lovely' if you had to deal with me for much longer than a day." She replied lightly as she smiled easily, before tilting her head as she heard what he said next. "Of course you can stay here, I'd never ask my worst enemy to go out in that." She replied firmly then as she watched him. "I have a guest bedroom you can use for the night to sleep in." She added, wanting him to know he had a place to remain comfortable. She gasped then when the electricity suddenly went out, freezing up some as the apartment was plunged into darkness as the lamp lights outside were affected as well. "For crying out loud..." She trailed off then as she stood, moving through the apartment back to the table, feeling around to avoid hitting it as she moved over to the desk in the far corner of the room. She grabbed the candle on the top of it, opening the drawer and feeling through it for a lighter before lighting the candle. She sighed softly, visibly relaxing once the room was bathed in a warm light.

Klaus smiled at her reaction to the electricity going out and said, "Well, I suppose that leaves out a movie if we decided to give conversation a break." He watched her easily in the dark, the werewolf in him giving him great night vision, as well as the vampire in him. He wanted to just quickly go to her side, but she might've been frightened even more by it if he suddenly was at her side helping her light a candle. "Thank you for your hospitality by the way," he added in there. Even with her comment about not letting her worst enemy go back out in that, he wanted to just say that she didn't have any idea what kind of enemy that one could be.
Elizabeth laughed softly hearing what he said about conversation. "Somehow I doubt conversations ever need a break when it comes to you." She said softly as she set the candle down on the table, the glow lighting up the room for the most part, seeing as her dining room and living room were one all together. She glanced up from setting the candle down, smiling gently hearing him. "No need to thank me, Klaus, I'm happy to have you over." She replied as she moved around then and back to the couch, sitting down once more and leaning back. "Hopefully the electricity comes back on before the temperature lowers too much in this apartment. These walls aren't great insulators." She commented then as she looked around the room before looking back towards Klaus. "If you get cold I have extra blankets in the closet of your room by the way."

Klaus smiled at her thoughtfulness even though he definitely wouldn't be needing them. "I rather like the cold more so than the heat at times, so I should be fine, love." That word, it was spilling from his lips more naturally now in his words to her. "And don't worry about the temperature, I'm sure we'll be just fine here." He smiled gently at her, the candlelight enhancing her beauty almost as much as actual sunlight did. "Let's play a game then. You tell me something about you and I will tell you something of the same nature about me."
Elizabeth smiled softly as she nodded, feeling so comfortable with him, especially as he called her 'love' once more. She shifted and crossed her legs, sitting sideways on the couch so she could face him properly then hearing what he said about playing the game. "Well, alright, and then you'll tell me something about yourself of which I need to answer of the same nature as well." She grinned a bit then, before tilting her head some as she thought about what she might say about herself. "I have an irrational fear of the dark, and slept with a nightlight till I was nineteen." She admitted up front, knowing he must have notice something to that effect when the lights had first gone out.

Klaus nodded and waited for her to start. He smiled at her confession and actually had to think for a moment before saying, "Well, I happen to love the dark and will love to protect you from whatever may scare you in it." He smiled sweetly at her then before saying, "I had siblings that were treated better than I was because their father was my stepfather." He looked at her then and waited for her to reply.
Elizabeth flushed some hearing him as she smiled softly seeing his own sweet smile, melting some hearing him voice how he'd protect her from her fears. Could this man, this practical stranger she met only hours before, truly be so....well, perfect? She tilted her head slightly then hearing what he said next, chewing some on her lower lip. "Klaus...that's awful." She whispered softly to him then as she heard him, before sighing softly. "I have no siblings, my Father never wanted children to begin with, and my Mother had to beg him to allow her to keep me when she fell pregnant with me."

Klaus nodded and said, "I couldn't imagine why he wouldn't want someone so beautiful." He waited for her to continue to give him a topic, but didn't want to push her if she felt uncomfortable now. He place a hand on hers before he could stop himself to let her know it was alright and no matter what, he wouldn't make her feel unwanted.
Elizabeth blushed some hearing him, shaking her head slightly. "It's alright, really, he treats me fine, and Mom makes up for where he lacks." She reassured him. "I couldn't imagine having both parents favouring my siblings over me, though, that must have been difficult to deal with at times." She murmured as she watched his hand move and find her own, turning her hand and gently cupping his hand in her own, squeezing it softly. "Okay, well, when I was growing up my favourite movie was Jurassic Park, and I even believed that when I grew up I'd be able to bring dinosaurs back to life like the scientists had within the movie." She admitted as she laughed some, shaking her head, waiting for his answer then as she did.

Klaus was going to reply to her when she went on with the game. He had no reply for this one because when he was growing up, there was no such thing as movies. Instead he replied, "I love books because I never watched TV or movies when I was growing up. And when I get lost in a book I still think of me as the main character in it and imagine myself in the book." He hoped that was a decent enough answer and she didn't ask for him to elaborate on it so he continued with, "I can not stand swamps. The smell, the sight, the feel of the water just disgusts me."
Elizabeth smiled hearing him then as she tilted her head listening to his answer and what he said afterwards, her nose wrinkling some in disgust. "Yeah, swamps are definitely not the most pleasant of places to be stuck in." She replied lightly as she thought about her answer now, chewing some on her lower lip as she did. "I love the mountains though, and the forests." She replied softly before thinking up a new thing for her to say about herself. "Gosh, I don't know what else to say about myself," She murmured feeling a little stumped now. "I'm not sure about what you would want to know about me." She added as she chewed some on her lower lip in thought.
