Felix Garard: Ack! *splat*
Mar 1, 2022 20:59:39 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *tickles Felix* Where were you?
Mar 1, 2022 21:05:14 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *laughs and tries to wriggle free* Making out with Jenna
Mar 2, 2022 11:19:29 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *hmmph* Must be nice, Gramps Dudley keeps breaking me and Micah up
Mar 2, 2022 12:31:17 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Why don't you find a hidden spot to make out then? I mean, there's lots of hidden places around, right?
Mar 2, 2022 12:45:02 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: We tried he keeps sniffing Micah out to show him something or talk to him. I think he's doing the same to Micah's brothers.
Mar 2, 2022 12:46:27 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *clears throat trying not to laugh* I don't know how to help you with that one.
Mar 2, 2022 19:31:09 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *Ashleigh sighed flopping back on whatever they are sitting on or whatever* Sure go ahead and laugh it up!
Mar 2, 2022 20:09:23 GMT -6
Felix Garard: What? You would be laughing at me if I was in your shoes! *flops back and throws an arm around her shoulders*
Mar 2, 2022 20:11:24 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: probably so, but I'm bored now.
Mar 2, 2022 20:21:43 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Want to go check out the horses?
Mar 2, 2022 20:22:57 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: Why not? Uncle Jay had them brought out yesterday. Hey where do you suppose dad and uncles and their cousins have been sneaking off to?
Mar 2, 2022 21:43:20 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *shrugs* I dunno. We can try to follow them too, I guess.
Mar 3, 2022 13:51:00 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *smirks* Now I like that train of thought. We can work on our sniffing techniques and follow them. Or just follow their truck tracks in the snow
Mar 3, 2022 14:13:24 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *snorts* Yeah, I would just follow the tracks. They make it too easy by doing it in the snow.
Mar 3, 2022 14:25:53 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *jumps up* Let's go then!
Mar 3, 2022 14:36:57 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *jumps up as well and grabs Ash's hand and runs towards the door*

Klaus smirked and said, "Everything. That's what I want to know. I'll give you another one then to help you out." He thought for a moment and then leaned closer to her and looked her in the eye and said, "I find you to be the most beautiful woman, I have ever seen." He took a leap of faith there and he really didn't care anymore. She was pretty and he could tell she wasn't exactly the most confident about her looks so he wanted her to know he thought she was at least.
Elizabeth felt her heart race seeing that smirk back on his plump lips, before watching then as he leaned towards her, her breath catching for a moment as he did. She flushed hearing what he said, her mind spinning from his closeness and the intensity of the gaze he had settled her with. "I-no-I mean-you-thank you." She finally stuttered out, unsure of what to even say as he watched her and she swallowed thickly. "You're-you're pretty attractive yourself." She floundered then, feeling embarrassed by her lame attempt of returning the compliment. "I'm sorry, that sounded so lame, I-um, I'm really out of my league here." She muttered then in embarrassment as she ducked her head for a moment to try and gather herself, and to think of something to tell him. "I've never been in a relationship before." She murmured then, unsure of what else to tell him about herself with the direction this conversation seemed to be taking.

Klaus bit back the urge to laugh at her. Not trying to be mean, but he just thought it was even more attractive with her shyness. "No worries, love," he said then. "If you allow for me to, I can change that about you." He placed a hand gently on her shoulder. "And to be honest with you, I have been in more than I can possibly count. None of which were worthwhile, but I have a feeling about you." He was still close to her, letting her get used to his nearness. He could smell her blood pumping and hear her heart beating faster than it normally did. His mouth remained closed for the moment while he was fighting the urge to just have a taste from her smooth neck.
Elizabeth felt his hand on her shoulder then, his touch relaxing and soothing her almost instantly as she glanced from his hand towards his face, her blush slowly dying down then as she heard him. "R-Really? You're interested like that in me?" She asked softly then, before shaking her head to herself. "Sorry, that came out kind of....stupidly. You don't have to answer that. It's just...why would you want to think about something as serious as a relationship with me when you hardly know me?" She asked softly with genuine curiosity then. It did intimidate her as well and set her a bit on guard when he admitted to having been in numerous relationships, and how it seemed like he had cast those relationships away without regret. She wasn't the type of girl that could handle that sort of rejection if it were true.

Klaus removed his hand from her shoulder and straightened up a bit. "In time I will tell you everything about me, but for now, I can tell you that I was heading out of town, ready to move on until I laid eyes on you." He breathed, habitual, before saying, "I hope that doesn't seem strange to you, but for someone like me, that's the one thing I live to find. I've been in this world for far too long to let an opportunity pass me by that stopped me from leaving. You're the one I've been waiting for for a long time."
Elizabeth felt cold as his hand moved from her and he shifted further away from her, watching him with guarded curiosity as he spoke with reluctance. She swallowed thickly hearing what he had to say then as she sat up a bit straighter. "Klaus, what are you getting at? You mean when you saw me in the forest is when you suddenly decided to stay? Were you planning on leaving today?" She asked softly then as she shifted a bit to take her now sleeping leg from under her letting it hang over the side of the couch with the other leg. "Someone like you? In this world for too long? Waiting for me for a long time? What does all that mean?" She asked him, her voice firm, not wanting any nonsense. She had been ridiculed one to many times as a child in her schools to let a stranger pass a fast one on her as well.

Klaus put his hands up and said, "I'm not trying to confuse you. I just can't explain everything right now. I still don't know what you would think of me if you knew. I..." He paused feeling somewhat defeated and pissed at himself for mentioning it. He was forcing himself not to use his ability now and he was hating himself for even thinking it. "OK, if I tell you something, that you may find absurd, will you promise me that you will not cast me out? I promise you that I will not hurt you in any way."
Elizabeth watched him then as she chewed a bit on her lower lip hearing the deal he was making with her, her heart thudding in her chest. If he was afraid of her actually throwing him out, then it must be something very....big that he had to tell her. "I...I promise." She told him then as she watched him intently, wanting to know what exactly she would find so absurd. After all, it wasn't like he'd make something up, was it? He honestly seemed like a better man than to try and humiliate her with lies. "I'm trusting you to be honest with me, Klaus." She added seriously then as she wrung her hands together lightly. As long as he was honest with her she could find no fault in him.

Klaus nodded and said, "I promise I won't hurt you, and I will not lie, but you have to believe me when I tell you this." He waited a moment before she nodded or said an agreeable reply before saying, "Remember when I brought up Columbus? Well, I happened to have been on one of his ships." He looked at her face, clearly disbelief in him right now, so he added quickly. "I told you it would sound absurd, but do you trust me not to harm you in anyway? If you do, I will show you why it's not as absurd as it sounds."
Elizabeth frowned some as she watched him, nodding hearing him then before her mouth slowly opened as she heard what he said next, unable to stop her initial disbelief at his opening statement. "Columbus, really? So you're saying that you're over....what, four hundred years old?" She asked softly as she rose an eyebrow at him then, before allowing him to speak once more as she took a deep breath, wondering what exactly he had to show her. "Alright, I trust you." She told him then, feeling her heart racing though with nervousness. What the hell was going on here? It was true though, that she trusted him; after all if he had been a danger to her why would he have waited this long to make a move?
Post by Klaus Mikaelson on Dec 22, 2012 18:05:15 GMT -6
Klaus nodded and said, "Five hundred sixty-six." He said it plainly like it wasn't that big of a deal. Then he nodded after she said she had trusted him. He stood up and walked across the small room to give her extra space just in case she was frightened. He took a deep breath, an habit that would probably never die, and then looked back at her and bared his teeth which were replaced with his vampire fangs but not just those, with a mouthful of sharp predatory teeth that he was able to bare while he didn't transform into a wolf, but kept his human form instead. He quickly calmed himself down after that and said, "The myth of vampires and werewolves are true, love. I am the proof of that considering I'm a hybrid of the two." He was actually nervous as to what she was going to say now.
Elizabeth gaped hearing his easy reply of his age, wanting to protest, ask him to stop playing her for a fool, but he stood before she could barely formulate the thought. She watched him take a deep breath then as she tensed, before a gasp ripped through her when he turned her her, his eyes red, demonic, his mouth filled with pointy, shiny fangs. "Oh my god..." She trailed off then, breathing a bit heavier as adrenaline pumped through her veins at what she saw. She was frightened, but that was to be expected. When she saw his face, though, looking so unsure, she tried to reason with herself. If he was truly what he said he was, then he could've killed her or done with her what he will many times since he found her in the woods. Though she felt completely out of her depth, her world turning upside down in that moment, she tried to cling to that rational side of her. She stood slowly, swallowing thickly as she tried to calm her racing heart, slowly stepping over towards him then. "You...you half werewolf....half vampire..." She whispered in awe then, still slightly nervous as she approached him, her shaking hand reached forward when she was an arms length from him, her fingers slowly spreading over his chest, where his heart should have been beating, before she snatched her hand away, looking at him wide-eyed when she felt nothing there. "You're telling the truth." She murmured breathlessly. "What do you want with me? Why did you say all those things before? About finding me?"

Klaus let her walk to him slowly and when she reached her hand out, he wanted to reach out to her and grab her, but he resisted. He shook his head and said, "I was going to leave town and when I was driving out of town, I caught sight of you outside the school and immediately changed my mind." He swallowed then before saying, "Vampires go their entire lives without finding their mate, but there are many that do find them. Werewolves, well, they imprint on another, sometimes they're vampires, other times they're humans or witches, and most often they're other werewolves." He looked at her and said, "My father was a vampire, my mother a werewolf. I promised you I wouldn't lie to you, and I have spoken only the truth. You are the reason I am staying here. I believe you may be the one I'm meant to be with." He quickly added, "I know this is a lot to take in, but I can't keep this from you. I've tried all night so far and I failed because I want you to know everything."
Elizabeth listened to what he said, her mind spinning with all the information as she tried her best to sort out everything that he was telling her. "So...you are saying that I'm meant to be your...or, that is, you think I'm meant to me this mate?" She questioned, her voice a little shaky then as she watched him intently. "Why would you speculate something like that? What led you to believe that I may be your mate?" She asked softly then, wanting to get as many answers as he was willing to give. It all seemed surreal, she was just getting over the fact that an attractive guy was even interested in her, let alone finding out that this guy was half vampire, half werewolf and had a suspicion that she was meant to be his mate. "I mean, is it something you choose?" She asked then as she watched him intently.

Klaus smiled sweetly at her and said, "I don't choose it, it chooses me and I would do anything for you." He knew he hadn't told her about his persuasion ability, and he hoped to save that for another time. "If you need anything, want anything, all you have to do is tell me and I will do it for you or get it for you. You will have all that you want and need. Even if you want me to leave, I will leave." Of course he hoped she didn't want him to leave and the fact that she was standing so close to where he could just grab her and kiss her tempted him even more now.
