Felix Garard: Ack! *splat*
Mar 1, 2022 20:59:39 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *tickles Felix* Where were you?
Mar 1, 2022 21:05:14 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *laughs and tries to wriggle free* Making out with Jenna
Mar 2, 2022 11:19:29 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *hmmph* Must be nice, Gramps Dudley keeps breaking me and Micah up
Mar 2, 2022 12:31:17 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Why don't you find a hidden spot to make out then? I mean, there's lots of hidden places around, right?
Mar 2, 2022 12:45:02 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: We tried he keeps sniffing Micah out to show him something or talk to him. I think he's doing the same to Micah's brothers.
Mar 2, 2022 12:46:27 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *clears throat trying not to laugh* I don't know how to help you with that one.
Mar 2, 2022 19:31:09 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *Ashleigh sighed flopping back on whatever they are sitting on or whatever* Sure go ahead and laugh it up!
Mar 2, 2022 20:09:23 GMT -6
Felix Garard: What? You would be laughing at me if I was in your shoes! *flops back and throws an arm around her shoulders*
Mar 2, 2022 20:11:24 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: probably so, but I'm bored now.
Mar 2, 2022 20:21:43 GMT -6
Felix Garard: Want to go check out the horses?
Mar 2, 2022 20:22:57 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: Why not? Uncle Jay had them brought out yesterday. Hey where do you suppose dad and uncles and their cousins have been sneaking off to?
Mar 2, 2022 21:43:20 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *shrugs* I dunno. We can try to follow them too, I guess.
Mar 3, 2022 13:51:00 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *smirks* Now I like that train of thought. We can work on our sniffing techniques and follow them. Or just follow their truck tracks in the snow
Mar 3, 2022 14:13:24 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *snorts* Yeah, I would just follow the tracks. They make it too easy by doing it in the snow.
Mar 3, 2022 14:25:53 GMT -6
Ashleigh Garard: *jumps up* Let's go then!
Mar 3, 2022 14:36:57 GMT -6
Felix Garard: *jumps up as well and grabs Ash's hand and runs towards the door*

Elizabeth listened carefully once more, taking a deep breath as she let it out slowly then, looking back to Klaus once more. "I-this is a lot to take in." She told him, wanting to be honest. "I'm going to be honest with you, I'm frightened, but at the same time I know you spoke the truth when you said you'd not hurt me." She murmured softly then as she chewed some on her lower lip in thought. "So, if this mating bond chooses for you, does that mean you're forced into feeling the way you do about me?" She asked rationally, not wanting to seem doubtful of him, but she wanted to better understand where he was coming from as well.

Klaus shook his head and said, "It's not forced, no. I want to feel this way about you, I always have since I was born basically, but haven't had the urge to act on it until I saw you for the first time. All my other 'relationships' were to pass time, but I don't want to merely pass time with you." He thought for only a very brief second before adding, "There are times that we don't know this is the reason why we're drawn to another until a certain thing happens, but with you, I've been waiting for hundreds of years for and welcomed the feeling when it hit me." Then he took a slight step towards her and put a hand on her cheek gently and said, "I wouldn't dream of hurting you. I will protect you no matter what."
Elizabeth watched him, listening to what he had to say and for some ridiculous reason what he said then was what had brought her some semblance of comfort. Imagine, she was standing in the living room with a half werewolf and half vampire, and the thought that he was not forced to be attracted to her was what brought her comfort. Sometimes she couldn't believe herself. She watched him intently as he stepped forward, before feeling his hand cupping her cheek, her head tilting automatically into the touch then as she chewed softly on her lower lip hearing what he said next. "I know you won't hurt me, I've come to terms with that much." She reassured him then as she continued to watch him. "I'm just trying to make sense of everything else." She added honestly then as she gave him a small smile. "Be patient with me?"

Klaus was going to kiss her because he felt a strong urge to, but then refrained when she asked for him to be patient with her. "Of course," he said softly and slowly dropped his hand from her cheek, leaving a lingering touch there. "To be even more honest, I'm surprised your cat hasn't tried to attack me yet, but I suppose he's the type to just stay away." He was musing at the thought to lighten the mood a bit, but his humor wasn't into it because he was more worried about what was going on in Elizabeth's head about him.
Elizabeth felt at a loss when his hand dropped from her face, a sense of disappointment flooding her. But she had been the one to ask him to be patient with her after all, and she knew it was for the best. She smiled and laughed softly then hearing what he said about her cat, shaking her head some as she did. "You might be jinxing yourself there, but then again, she got along quite well with the dogs at the humane society I picked her up from." She murmured lightly as she glanced towards her cat, sleeping peacefully by the heater, despite the fact that it was no longer giving out heat. "Thank you," She added softly as she looked back to Klaus, "for being honest with me."

Klaus smiled and nodded. "That's all I'll ever be with you. That is, unless you want more," he replied hopeful. He looked down though not wanting to make her feel obligated to stand in front of him if she really didn't want to. He decided to slightly change the subject then and said, "So I hear that there is a party on New Year's Eve for the entire town. Have you thought about going to it?" He would be ecstatic to buy her a dress for a gala event he was sure to involve dressing up.
Elizabeth felt her heart racing once more then hearing him, chewing some on her lower lip. "I won't lie, I'm still very much interested in you Klaus." She murmured, blushing a bit then for being so forward as she did. She tilted her head some then hearing what he said next, shaking her head lightly. "No, not really. I mean, I didn't know if I could go...it seemed like a rather high up event." She murmured as she shrugged her shoulders some. "Like meant for the upper class families in the area, that and I don't know anyone that would be going." She admitted as she smiled some, being brave now and taking a step towards him. "Was there a reason for asking, Klaus?" She asked as she tilted her head some to look up at him, having to tilt her head back slightly due to his height.

Klaus looked back at her and smiled a small smile. Then his smile grew a bit and said, "From my understanding, it's for the entire town. And my reason behind asking is because I would like you to go with me." He slightly inhaled her scent at her nearness becoming a bit intoxicated by it, listening to her heart beating. "That is, if you would like to join me."
Elizabeth smiled softly back to him then as she nodded slowly hearing him. "Alright, I'd love to go with you. Sounds like it could be a fun evening." She responded lightly then, before smiling a bit more. "Just fair warning, I've never danced before, nor have I attended an event like that before." She murmured softly as she wrapped her arms over her stomach, resting them there. "You sure you wanna deal with that?" She joked lightly then as she smiled some up at him.

Klaus smirked and said, "I'm sure the dancing can be remedied quite quickly and you would fit in anywhere." His confident charm was returning to him now, feeling as if she really was trying to accept what he was. "So, anything specific you wish to know of me? I will tell you all you wish to know of anything about me." He slowly reached to her and clucked her chin with his fingers softly.
Elizabeth smiled softly hearing him then as his attractive and confident smirk moved onto his features. "As long as you're sure." She joked lightly before feeling his fingers on her chin, allowing him to touch her as her own hand rose to rest on his wrist, her thumb lightly rubbing over the inside of it as she did. "I wouldn't be sure of where to begin to be honest. There would be so much that I'd like to know about you, and your past in correspondence to famous historical events." She admitted as she smiled some up at him. "I already know somewhat about your experience with Columbus at least. Do you remember why you wanted to come to America to begin with?" She asked him lightly then as she watched him.

Klaus nodded slowly at her question and said, "My stepfather killed my mother because she was unfaithful. Then he turned to try and kill me. So instead of staying, I ran. I was young and didn't know exactly the extent of my abilities. I don't know if he killed my brothers and sisters, but since they were his children, I doubt he did. I wasn't his, so he could care less about me." He shrugged then and said, "When Columbus set sail, I thought it would be an easier way to stay away from my stepfather. I don't know if he's dead now or not, but I do know that a witch cast a spell on him to retard the effects of age far greater than any man-made tonic could."
Elizabeth listened to his story intently, her stomach dropping hearing what had happened to him. "Oh Klaus..." She trailed off softly as she gently squeezed his wrist, frowning. "That's horrible, to have to deal with all of that alone. I couldn't even imagine..." She trailed off, shaking her head slightly then before looking back up to him. "So he could still be out there? Hunting you?" She questioned in concern then as she frowned some, her thumb still gently stroking along the inside of his wrist as she held it softly.

Klaus shook his head and said, "I'm not worried about him now. That's just why I came to come to America. He may not even think to look here if he was still alive. Besides, I never went hungry like many did after the food supply diminished on the ships. And it's not true about disease claiming many of their lives either. There were a few vampires on the ships, I believe I was the only hybrid though." He gently put his hand back to her shoulder and guided her back to the couch so she could be more comfortable. "If there's not anything that you think you could ask me right now then, how about you? You can tell me your life story if you wish."
Elizabeth nodded some hearing what he said then before following him over to the couch, her mind still spinning from what he had told her. She knew he had much more that he could tell her now, but she also figured it might be best to take his history one step at a time. She sat down then on the couch with him, clasping her hands in her lap as she smiled some hearing what he asked of her. "Well, mine will be far more boring than your's I imagine." She replied as she shrugged her shoulders some. "Well, like I mentioned before my Father has been involved in the military for a while, so we moved around a lot, some places I can hardly even remember." She murmured softly then. "I had a pretty normal childhood other than that, though, in a way I mean. I made odd friends, some of which I still talk to." She thought about what to say next. "I went to the University of Virginia, and I'm finishing up my teaching degree correspondence whilst teaching here as part of my practical requirements. Um, I really don't know what else to say." She murmured as she shrugged her shoulders once more. "That's my life basically in a nutshell."
